My lone terrible food experience

This Sunday I went to a concert (classical) in Narita. On the way there we stopped at a Japanese pickle shop and I experienced (gasp) the worst food ever >< I was trying things that were all so nasty (I don't like pickles hehehe). Then the guy I was with gave me this dark green wrinkly round thing covered in mustard. I put it in my mouth and about died. I would say it tasted like hair spray, but that would connote it was something a little less toxic than say, gasoline. I about cried because it made my eyes so watery and my nose sure cleared up quick. The shop guy said to me in English ‘dangerous’. Yeah, NOW I know. But just so everyone knows almost all other food is really delicious. And the concert was wonderful and Narita was really neat. That pickle was just an exciting little event in my weekend ^_^

poor hannie!
I had one bad pickle experiment in Japan. It was a pickled sea anemone and it was a charming combination slime and battery acid. It and the fish spam were my two worst culinary experiences in Japan. So, how was the concert and who'd ya go with? You still haven't answered my previous post (please see the comments on your last on your last comment) any way, three day weekend, life is boring and ACT's are on Wednesday.
Hope your week is better! (and remember, just say no to processed fish products of any kind!)
bai!

Ew! Good luck with ACT's, I know it'll be oodles of fun! The concert was really good, I got to sit in the front. I went with a guy (and his mom) who is somehow connected with some program or another that's connected with my homestay >< I'm so informed.
