Just Checking In
I had to go to school today! It was raining this morning and Otosan had the day off so he drove us to the station, thank you!! Can’t stand walking in the rain. But by the time we got to school it was sooo hot, but of course it's cloudy and cold now. Everyone had to take tests today so I spent most of the day in the International Room ‘studying’. I fell asleep for two or three periods without really realizing it. I had little Tokyo Gakkan Urayasu button marks imprinted on my arm from my uniform! I had lunch with my classmates and then went back down to the IR room for two more periods. I read this monthly paper that is in Japanese and English to help the students learn English. They had a thing in there about a mysterious phenomenon in Germany where toads are expanding three times their normal size and exploding sending their entrails 3 meters! Woot! So informative! We went to the gym for half an hour and listened to the most boring teacher talk. I saw a girl get detained for using her cell phone. And some guy got in trouble because of his uniform or something. Well, that's just an exciting day in the life of Hannah! バイ everyone!

Hello, It's Katie G. again, JBG's friend, and I just wondered, how long are the periods in your school? Are the hours a certain length of time?
The periods are 50 minutes with 10 minute passing periods. We have four periods and then lunch (^_^) and then two more periods. The schedule is pretty random concerning which classes I have everyday. We also have a short homeroom at the start and end of each day. Then we clean the school! I don't like cleaning the bathrooms, but we switch every week. I did the clinics last week. Just ask if you have any more questions!
hannish!
hi it's ms. prince. we're in class, reading your pickle story. katie says to tell you the AP test is over! we celebrated by having a rubber band fight.
once, when i was in hawaii, my friend made me walk 2 miles to eat a so-called "candy" called a "li-hing-muui." it was a terrible terrible pickle! it got spit out on the ground, in view of the shopkeeper. but it couldn't be helped. it tasted like warm, salted rubber. have fun!
hana! ogenki desu ka? anata no otokonoko wa genki desu mo? Watashi wa genki desu. Judo was omoshiiroi desu. Minna san wa genki desu. ja mata ne!
Ms. Princeish!
Hi! You're so lucky to have been able to spit your pickle out! In my photo album with pictures from scool I have one of you and everyone thinks you're a student! >< And someone said Zach looked like a teacher. Don't let that go to his head or anything. He might take over the English class. English in Japan is funny, but our class is still the coolest. Especially when I'm there, right??
Heylo K,
I'm good, all is good! I have a way cool farmers tan from going to the beach. I know your jealous of my tan with the watch and bracelet marks >< waaa! I'm glad everyone at Judo is good too!
Hey, Hannah! I've been reading your blog and not responding because I just fit it in during bits of time. Is it okay if we print some of it for the CIS bulletin board? I did want to say that I LOVE Japanese pickles, and I feel that you are being grossly unfair to them. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Japanese Pickles will come after you, probably with something black and slimy. I have really enjoyed your food tour. What about udon (my staple food when we were traveling in southern Japan)? Maybe that's just too mundane. We all miss you, especially at lunch. Zach IS a teacher--he taught the freshmen in his Teaching Tolerance Passage last week and did very well. More later--HH
Ms. Hursh!!!! Hi!
I'm getting my ninja outfit ready right now to fight of those preventers of pickle cruelty! I'll have my mouth wash at hand too! I've had udon, a nice yummy safe food, for lunch a lot. My favorite noodle is yaki soba. However my ultimate favorite is cha-an, a chinese dish of rice and eggs. The spelling may be off on that. Anyway, feel free to post my adventures on the bulletin board, I know everyone will enjoy my many thrilling accounts of food! ^_^
I'm glad you've been checking in and I miss everyone too!!!! Times a billion :P! but you'll see me in 9 months, right? Hehe.
